Tempranillo
the uniqueness of the variety can be attributed to It's refined varietal charm and personality
Description
The Tempranillo displays an exotic bouquet of mulberries and fennel seeds further supported by a rustic palate brimming with olive tanepade flavours and tingling savoury tannins. This flavour profile and texture further reinforces why Tempranillo is considered to be such a "food friendly" wine.
Tasting Notes
Awards & Reviews for recent releases
2008 Tempranillo is popping up all over Australia and the results are generally good. McLaren Vale seems to suit its honest, tasty personality as well as most places and this is a very good example. It kicks off with aromas of herbs and spices, red berries and tapenade. Similar flavours track through the palate, which is dry and moreish. Ralph Kyte-Powell – The Age Epicure, 2009
